Synopsis:

When it's discovered that high school football star Alex (Peter Spence) is gay, his best friend Brad (Scott Baio) courageously supports him. Brad faces a choice of standing by his gay friend or losing a West Point appointment and facing homophobia from parents, friends and teammates. Jessica Steen plays Brad's girlfriend Kay. The movie is based on the 1981 book The Truth About Alex (Formerly Titled "Counterplay") by Ann Snyder and Louis Pelletier.
