Academy Announces Winners
From The
10th Annual Gemini Awards Industry Gala
Saturday, March 2, 1996,
Toronto, Canada -- The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is pleased
to announce the winners from the Industry Gala of the 10th Annual Gemini Awards,
celebrating excellence in Canadian television. The industry presentation, honouring
achievement in program, performance and craft award categories, took place at
the Sheraton Centre's Grand Ballroom. The Industry Gala was produced by ACCTV
Productions Inc. and Birch River Productions, the non-televised celebrations were
hosted by comedian Eric Tunney.
The final night of the 10th
Annual Gemini Awards, the Broadcast Gala, hosted by Gemini award winner,
Albert Schultz will be broadcast on Sunday, March 3, 8 p.m. on CBC Television
live from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre's John Bassett Theatre.
